Portrait without Faces

In this project, Portrait without Faces, I wanted to convey the fact of "Looks can be Deceiving" in the way that at first glance, a person is constantly being stereotyped on appearance and in most cases, that opinion is usually rendered false. I wanted to evoke an emotional response not only from the person being portrayed, but from the audience who is viewing my concept as well.

To convey this concept, I took two separate portraits from a few of the people I had interviewed. The first image is of one of the constant stereotypes that is being placed upon that person, and the second is the "True" person behind the mask.

Hope you enjoy.
